Good Housekeeping Recognizes Honda LaneWatch as Top 2013 Technology
Good Housekeeping magazine has always been a smart proponent of new technologies and products that can change the way Americans live their lives. Way back at the turn of the century, the publication was touting the benefits of pure, real food long before organic entered the national lexicon. Their support helped to bring about the 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act. We know that the strength of the magazine’s support still carries a lot of importance, so we’re very proud that Honda LaneWatch has been given the prestigious Very Innovative Products (VIP) Award.
Every year, experts at the Good Housekeeping Research Institute (GHRI) scour the markets in every possible industry to find 1,500 of the best and most innovative products to test. Only nine new products make the VIP list, and the latest safety feature from Honda is the only automotive product on it for 2013.
Here at Paragon Honda, we weren’t surprised in the least when we heard that LaneWatch made the list. The intuitive visibility technology helps drivers to see their blind spot on an 8-inch display whenever the turn signal is activated. This helps keep pedestrians and bicyclists safe and should drastically reduce the number of accidents that are caused by merging. The accolades don’t end there as it’s also earned recognition as an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) new TOP SAFETY PICK+.
This revolutionary technology made its debut in the 2013 Honda Accord and is now also available in the 2013 Crosstour. Stop by Paragon Honda today and check out this award winning technology for yourself. If you have another model in mind, our sales team would be happy to show you around the dealership, located at 57-02 Northern Blvd Woodside, NY 11377, to see the rest of our new and used Honda inventory.
