Honda Increases 2012 Sales Forecast

September 25th, 2012 by

After recovering from the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan in 2011, Honda is back and better than ever. The company suffered short-term parts and production shortages in the wake of the disaster, but now things are back on track like never before.

Of course, if you’re not willing to take our word for it, you could come check out the new Honda inventory at Paragon Honda in Woodside, NY. Our staff is more than happy to answer any questions that you may have, share specs, compare models, and even set you up behind the wheel for a test drive.

And because so many drivers across the country have taken up similar offers from their local Honda dealerships, the Big H itself is now raising its sales forecast for the remainder of the year.

Specifically, Honda has gone from estimating the sale of 1.2 million new cars through the end of the year to 1.3 million. The reason behind this bold statement is that the sales of certain redesigned models have been higher than originally anticipated. For instance, sales of the 2012 Honda CR-V are up 33.9 percent when compared to last year, and it’s not even the company’s bestselling model. That honor still goes to the 2012 Honda Civic.

Overall, Honda sales are up roughly 18.5 percent in comparison to last year, and they’re showing no signs of losing any momentum. That said, if there’s a new Honda you’re interested in, be sure to contact us today to arrange a test drive at 57-02 Northern Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377.
